Moment in Time Dance Company

Welcome to Moment in Time Dance Company, where passion meets performance! Our studio offers a diverse range of dance classes for ages 3 to 18, running from September to June each year. We pride ourselves on our Holiday and Spring Recital Performances, as well as participating in 3 nationally recognized competitions per season.

Our instructors bring over 30 years of combined experience in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, contemporary, high kick, and more. Our Wadena Area Dance Studio is dedicated to providing our students with an exceptional dance education across various disciplines including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, high kick, and beyond.

Located in Wadena, we proudly serve the communities of Henning, Bertha, Ottertail, Sebeka, Staples, Verndale, Aldrich, Deer Creek, Perham, and New York Mills, and more – welcoming dancers from near and far to join us in the art of dance. Discover the joy of dance with us at Moment in Time!

The Groups

Pre-K
Our Pre-K Group meets weekly on Tuesday’s from 4:30-5:30pm. The group will learn to listen and follow directions from our instructors. 
Mini
Our Mini group meets on Tuesday’s 5:30-6:30pm. The group starts learning about technique, posture and movements to perform choreography as a team!
Petite
The Petite group meets twice a week on Monday & Thursdays from 4:30-5:30pm.  This groups will take the leap into competing while developing the confidence to be on stage. 
Junior
The Junior meets twice a week on Monday & Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm. This group focuses on mastering their skills and learning intermediate level choreography. 
Teen
The teen group meets 3 times per week on Monday, Tuesday & Thursdays from 6:30-7:30pm. This group is challenged to go to the next level and perfect all that they have learned.
Senior
The senior group meets 3 times a week on Monday, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7:30-8:30pm.  This group will be the leaders and role models for the company.
